Jim Dolan, founder and frontman of JD & The Straight Shot, CEO of Cablevision and executive chairman of the Madison Square Garden Company, presented a donation of $100,000 to Dorine Gordon, president and CEO of the ALS Association, Greater New York chapter, at Madison Square Garden.
The gift comes after 7,422 fans accepted Dolan’s challenge to break the record for simultaneous kazoo playing — a record set during a concert by Dolan’s band, which opened for The Eagles at Madison Square Garden on Sept. 18.
