Energy Facility Fire

Fire crews are working to completely put out the flames at Wadham Energy in the city of Williams located in Colusa County.  Around 3:30 a.m. firefighters received a call from a resident reporting flames coming from the facility.

When crews arrived, they say 40-foot flames were shooting from the silos. They were able to get those flames under control, however crews say there’s still a fire burning inside the silos.

Wadham Energy converts rice waste into renewable energy.

Firefighters believe the fire may have started during the transport process between silos. However, the exact cause of the fire is under investigation.

South Sacramento Shooting Investigation

Sacramento Police are investigating a shooting that happened around 11:30 p.m. on Teak Court and Pinion Way.

Officers say the victim who suffered multiple gunshot wounds drove himself to the hospital, where he’s now in critical condition.

No word on a possible suspect.

Search Continues for Missing Vallejo Woman

Authorities are resuming their search this morning for Denise Huskins who was reported to be abducted for ransom on Monday morning. Today, search teams are focusing their efforts near the Mare Island Waterfront.

Last night, crews thought they discovered what appeared to be a mass the size of a human adult in the same area, however it turned out to be nothing of significance.

Anyone with information about Huskins’ whereabouts is encouraged to contact the Vallejo Police Department.
