SACRAMENTO-

Sacramentans are being asked to cut back on their water use through Monday.

The city issues “Spare the Water Alerts” whenever there are three consecutive days of more than 100+ degree weather.

Residents are asked to only water their lawns and gardens on their designated days, and only before 10 a.m. or after 7 p.m. No outside watering is allowed on Mondays, Thursdays or Fridays.

The city posted water-saving tips to its website. To learn how to save water, click here.
