As for Idol, it helped secure the network’s nightly win in the key demographic by holding steady with last week and earning a 2.7 rating among adults 18-49.
CBS edged out Fox for a Thursday win among total viewers. And with the Big Bang Theory still in repeats, a steady Mom (2.5 adults) was the biggest comedy of the night. Two and a Half Men (2.3 adults) and Elementary (1.5 adults) were each improved by two-tenths of a point.

Following a steady Biggest Loser (1.2 adults), Bad Judge (0.8 adults), A to Z (0.6 adults) and Parenthood (1.3 adults) were all on par with last week.
The season finale of The Taste pulled a steady 0.8 rating among adults 18-49 on ABC, while The CW saw Vampire Diaries (0.7 adults) slip two-tenths of a point from its last episode in December. Reign (0.4 adults) held steady.
