A woman was seriously injured in a hit-and-run car crash late Friday, and now the Sacramento Police Department is asking for your help in finding their suspect.
Around 11:30 p.m. on Friday night, a woman was walking eastbound on Arcade Boulevard near Palmer Street. A car swerved out of its lane, struck the woman, and then continued westbound on Arcade.
Police found her in the road with serious injuries; firefighters and EMTs rushed her to the hospital to be treated for life-threatening injuries.
Sacramento police conducted an investigation at the scene of the crash, with both the Major Collision Investigation Unit and Crime Scene Investigators collecting evidence.
Police believe the suspect is driving a 2000 to 2004 dark gray Ford Taurus. The car is missing its passenger side mirror, and might have significant damage to the hood and windshield.
