OAKDALE-

His name is plastered all over the signs in Stanislaus County in big, bold letters for Jura’s Pizza but now, Jura Aghassi is in trouble.

The 59-year-old has been arrested, accused of sexually assaulting someone inside of his Oakdale pizza parlor.  Police say he forced  a female employee to have oral sex while on the job, and penetrated her with a foreign object.

Michael Whitley, who owns Mike’s Card Casino next door, says he was a regular at Jura’s Pizza before the Oakdale location went out of business.

“All his employees were young, pretty girls, most of them high school aged.” Whitley told FOX40. “Nothing surprises me these days.”

Aghassi’s family is shocked by the allegations. His sister and business partner told FOX40 off camera that Aghassi has a family, and has been divorced for seven years.

Even for customers, the allegations are hard to take in. The original Jura’s Pizza opened in Turlock back in the 70’s by Aghassi father, and named after Jura.

Aghassi was out on $200,000 bail Tuesday. His attorney had no comment.
