OROVILLE-

Two teens, ages 16 and 17, were arrested Saturday in connection with a home invasion robbery and beating of a 64-year-old man.

The man, identified by Patrick Plaster, was taken to the hospital by family. He was originally believed to have life-threatening injuries but Plaster is now expected to recover.

Investigators say the two teens broke into Plaster’s Country Club Road home on Oct. 16, severely beat him and took property from the house.

Firearms were included in the things taken, investigators said.

Both boys were booked into Butte County Juvenile Hall on charges of assault with a deadly weapon with great bodily injury, elder abuse and robbery.

Anyone with any more information about this is asked to contact the Butte County Sheriff’s Office at (530) 538-7671.
