The full-length trailer for Doctor Who has arrived.
BBC debuted new footage from the eighth season of the British drama, which kicks off Aug. 23 in the U.K. and the U.S., during halftime of Sunday’s World Cup final between Germany and Argentina.

In the trailer, Peter Capaldi’s Twelfth Doctor asks Jenna Coleman‘s Clara whether he’s “a good man.” Clara stutters in her response, failing to come up with a satisfying answer.
Capitalizing on the moody atmosphere established in the previously-released teasers, brief glimpses from the upcoming run put prime focus on the dark side of the Doctor, with the Time Lord telling Clara that they’re going “into darkness.”
“I’ve made many mistakes, it’s about time to do something about that.”
