Congressional candidate Doug Ose announced today he has been endorsed by the Elk Grove Police Officers Association.

Doug Ose endorsed by Elk Grove's
rank and file police.
“We are proud to offer Doug Ose our endorsement because he has a proven track record of doing whatever it takes to ensure that our streets are protected and our people are safe," Joaquin Farinha, President of the Elk Grove Police Officers Association said. "He wholeheartedly supports our mission and we trust him to improve public safety throughout the city of Elk Grove.”

Ose, a former three term Republican member of Congress is facing incumbent Democrat Dr. Ami Bera for California's Seventh Congressional District. The race, which is considered a toss-up, has seen a large influx of spending by independent expenditure committees including former President George W. Bush's political adviser Karl Rove's, Crossroads GPS committee.

I am honored that the Elk Grove Police Officers Association has chosen to support my candidacy for Congress," Ose said. "Among the many things I fought for while in office was to ensure that our communities were protected and kept safe."
