SACRAMENTO-

A vigil was held Tuesday on the corner of 68th Avenue and Della Circle by family members of Carrie McCullough, who was killed three years ago.

Investigators say McCullough was shot and killed outside a barbecue in broad daylight by two men believed to be wearing white bandannas.

Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department spokesperson Sergeant Lisa Bowman says the case has gone cold and no arrests have been made.

“This woman didn’t have anything to do with anything,” neighbor Joan Howell told FOX40. “She didn’t even live here. She was an innocent person who lost her life.”

McCullough’s family hopes someone with information will come forward.
