Starboard Closes on WNSW/New York for $10.1M

Starboard Media Foundation (aka Relevant Radio) has closed on its previously announced acquisition of 7kw Spanish WNSW-AM (1430)/New York for $10.1 million from Multicultural Broadcasting. Starboard is a Religious/Christian broadcaster that owns stations in Austin, Chicago and Providence, along with several outlets through out Wisconsin, including Eau Claire, Green Bay and Madison. Michael J. Bergner of Bergner & Co. was the exclusive broker for the transaction.
