NATOMAS-

In an effort to alleviate classroom overcrowding, the Natomas Unified Board of Trustees voted unanimously Wednesday to send sixth graders to middle school.

The move begins next school year.

Natomas Unified has three middle schools: Natomas Gateways, Leroy Greene and Natomas.

The middle schools also offer extracurricular activities not otherwise available to sixth graders.
