Georgia Educators, The State Board of Education is asking for your help in evaluating the Social Studies Georgia Performance Standards (GPS). The Regional Educational Service Agencies (RESAs) are assisting in this effort. We realize teachers understand the practical content and delivery of GPS. With that in mind, we are asking you to examine each standard to accept as is, or to recommend changes in content, wording, or sequencing. These recommendations should be specific in regard to content, wording, and sequencing. Take a few minutes and select the link below for the grade level or course you teach. The surveys open on Thursday, April 16, 2015, and close on Monday, June 15, 2015. Thank you for your time! |
