A great Android phone, stainless steel straws, and a smart pressure cooker lead off Thursday’s best deals.

The 5.7" Moto X Pure “does Android better than Google,” and Amazon will sell you a 16GB model for $239, or a 64GB for $320 unlocked today. Those are far and away the best prices we’ve ever seen, but we don’t expect them to last long.
Update: Also available at B&H and Best Buy.
Anker’s newest charging hub is ostensibly designed as a superior replacement for your USB-C MacBook charger—it’s the first third party charging hub that can feed a full 29W to the laptop, just like its included power brick—but it’s a great accessory if you own any USB-C-powered devices. Today’s $37 deal is an all-time low, down from its usual $44.
The Steam Summer Sale just kicked off, and the day one deals include This War of Mine, Ashes of the Singularity , Doom , Fallout 4, and a lot more, so head over to Steam to see the full collection.
If you need some new reading material to get through the summer, StoryBundle (which, full disclosure, was started by former Gizmodo and Lifehacker editor Jason Chen) just launched a massive Adventure Sci-Fi bundle, allowing you to name your own price for up to 15 DRM-free e-books from authors including Hugo nominee Bryan Thomas Schmidt, Nebula nominee Charles E. Gannon, and Brian Herbert, son of Dune author Frank Herbert, and an accomplished writer himself.
A few notes here, if you aren’t familiar with StoryBundle: There is an $8 minimum donation, and you’ll need to pay $16 to get all of the books. You can also decide how much of your money goes to the authors vs. StoryBundle, and even give 10% to charity if you wish. Happy! reading!
Update: Sold out at $24
Like the idea of a Belkin WeMo Switch, but not willing to spend $40-$50 to try one out? This TP-Link alternative has a nearly identical feature set for half the price. Just clip the $10 coupon on the page to knock it down to $24.
Just like a WeMo Insight switch, TP-Link’s Smart Plug will let you turn appliances on and off from your smartphone, track their energy usage, and set schedules to toggle them automatically. The only major feature it’s lacking is IFTTT support, but it will integrate with an Amazon Echo for voice control.
Note: We’ve posted several deals on a nearly identical TP-Link Smart Plug in the past, but this is easily the best price we’ve seen on the version that includes energy monitoring.
If you held a gun to my head and forced me to use a Windows laptop, I’d absolutely choose the Dell XPS 13. Adorama’s eBay storefront today is selling one with a 3200x1800 edge to edge display, 8GB of RAM, and a 256GB SSD for $850, which is a fantastic bargain for anyone seeking a mid-to-high end laptop who doesn’t care so much about gaming.
Update:
Panasonic’s Technics DJ headphones are a great set of mid-level over-ears (see their 4.5 star Amazon average for impressions), and Panasonic will sell you a pair directly for $80 today with promo code TECHNICS, plus free shipping.
When it comes to having a corner on the market, nothing really compares to Nike. Use the code ZOOM25 to score an extra 25% off already reduced men’s and women’s clearance items and hope on that sportswear bandwagon.
Skechers are basically the cool dad shoes of 2016. Amazon’s Gold Box deal will get you a pair for as low as $15.
There’s not a whole lot to say here: This is a coffee table, it doesn’t look like butt, and it costs $25 with Prime shipping. Is it the best coffee table? An heirloom piece? An ostentatious display of decadence? Of course not. But it’ll hold your drinks and dinner plates as you sink into an Orange is the New Black coma at home on a Wednesday night.
These glass airtight food jars are currently Amazon’s top seller in the hotly contested “Food Jars and Crocks” category, and you can save $14 on a set of two with promo code JVOA6P4T. If they keep just one bag of pistachios fresh, they’ll have already paid for themselves.
As long as you don’t mind an open-box unit, you can save a whopping $70 on the high capacity model of the new Apple TV. That’s easily the best deal we’ve seen to date.
If you don’t own a pressure cooker, today’s a great day to fix that. Amazon’s knocked the highly-rated Instant Pot IP-Smart all the way down to $140, one of the lowest prices ever listed.
We’ve posted deals on Instant Pots before, but this one is unique in that it offers full smartphone control. The Instant Pot app includes tons of pre-programmed recipes, and the ability to add your own. Just select what you’re cooking, and the pressure cooker will automatically go through all of the necessary steps.
If you’re worried that you won’t get a ton of use out of this thing, note that in addition to standard pressure cooking, you can also use the Instant Pot as a slow cooker, rice cooker, steamer, yogurt maker, and more. If you own one, be sure to sound off in the comments!
You know what they say; once you go vacuum insulated stainless steel, you never go back. This 20 ounce bottle includes three different lids that you can swap depending on the situation, and can keep a cold drink cold for up to 24 hours, or a hot drink hot for up to 12. I own a similar bottle, and the effect is indistinguishable from magic.
Note: The code is only valid on the 20 ounce silver model.
Today you can grab a Fitbit Aria smart scale on Newegg for an all-time low $50, as long as you don’t mind a refurb. It only really makes sense to buy this scale if you own (and regularly use) a Fitbit, but if you do, the Aria sync your weight, BMI, and body fat % to the Fitbit app to track your goals and progress over time.
Stainless steel drinking straws add a touch of class to everything from Coke Zero to Moscow Mules, and you can get eight of them today (four bent, four straight) for $11. Just add both items below to your cart, and use code KEE69H9P at checkout.
Today’s Amazon Gold Box features a nice collection of USB charging gear from iClever, including a Quick Charge 3.0 charger, a USB-C charger, and more. Full disclosure: It’s not unusual to see slightly better deals on any given day on one or two similar chargers, but if you want to stock up on a bunch, this is a good variety.
It’s officially hammock season, and you can join in the fun for just $17 today. This camping hammock is made of lightweight nylon for easy portability, and if you pair it with a cheap set of tree straps, you should be able to hang it up in just about any park.
With a good set of silicone cooking gloves, you’ll have full finger control when you handle hot pans in the kitchen. Hell, you could use them to just pick up a piece of meat directly off the grill, like some sort of barbecue superhero. For $6, why not?
If you like to do your own oil changes, or aren’t afraid to tinker on the underside of your car, these inexpensive RhinoRamps are the quickest way to elevate your car. Obviously, they won’t help you for tire changes, and they won’t give you a ton of clearance, but for quick, basic maintenance, they should get the job done.
It’s not always that you find a sale so comprehensive, it takes multiple tabs in your browser just to make sure you’ve covered it all. The Limited is having one of those sales. Get 50% off New Arrivals, 60% off select styles, and an extra 50% off sale items. Have fun trying to keep your browser organized.
Anker’s brand new PowerCore 10000 is part of your favorite line of USB battery packs, and you can pick one up on Amazon today for just $22, which is $8 less than usual, and an all-time low. Not to be confused with the older PowerCore 10000, this model includes Quick Charge 3.0 (backwards compatible with 2.0), which should feed power into your compatible phone like a firehose.
You also get Anker’s standard 18 month warranty and a nice travel pouch, but the real reason to buy the PowerCore 10000 is its size. If you’ve owned other ~10,000mAh battery packs, you’ll be shocked how small and light this thing is.
I know, I know. The Xbox One S is coming soon. But damn, it’s hard to resist the white Gears of War special edition console bundle, Minecraft, NBA 2K16, and an extra controller for just $279.
You can also opt for the 1TB three-game bundle, a copy of Forza Horizon 2, and an extra controller for $299.
And finally, the Elite bundle doesn’t come with any games, but it does come with the fantastic Elite controller, plus a bonus standard gamepad for $349.
Vitamix makes some of the best high-end blenders on the market, (just ask The Sweethome), and Amazon is selling refurbs in multiple colors for $280 today, or about $100 less than the usual refurb price.
These are labeled as the Vitamix 1888-1901, depending on the color, but they’re actually refurbished Vitamix 6300 blenders, which are a little older, but sell for over $500 new. The only difference? You get a five year warranty instead of seven. I’d say that’s worth saving over $200.
Amazon’s Prime Pantry program is great for stocking up on household goods and non-perishable foods without actually having to visit a store, but the $5.99 per box shipping charge has always been a drag. This month though, if you buy five select items, you can get that fee waived.
Bonus: If you already have a no-rush free shipping credit in your account, this deal actually appears to stack, netting you an extra $6 discount.
They ran a similar promotion the last few months with different eligible items. Just add five of them to your box (plus anything else that will fit), and use code PANTRYJUN at checkout to get free shipping.
RAVPower just came out with their own collection of kevlar-wrapped charging cables to compete with Anker PowerLine, and you can get a 6-pack of the microUSB cables for FREE today when you purchase a Quick Charge 3.0 wall charger. Just add both items to your cart, and use code DT7O9EJE.
And don’t forget, you can still get a 2-pack (a 3' and a 6') of kevlar-wrapped Lightning cables for $13 with code K6VLNE3K.
Need a little push to get off the couch? The Fitbit Charge HR is your favorite wearable fitness tracker, and you can get one for just $100 today, which is a match for the best deal we’ve seen.
Assuming you have (or don’t mind buying) a receiver, and aren’t bothered by the thought of running wires, this $100 speaker set from Monoprice is one of the most tempting home theater audio deals we’ve ever seen.
Whiel it isn’t as turnkey as a VIZIO 5.1 sound bar system, it should sound really good, and will give you much better separation on the front channels. Unfortunately, today’s $100 deal isn’t eligible for Monoprice’s current $20 off $100/$10 off $50 promotions, but it’s tough to complain at this price.
We posted this sound bar system for $300 last week, which at the time was the best price we’d seen. Turns out though, if you have an Amazon Rewards Visa, you can save an additional $60!
If you aren’t familiar, this VIZIO system offers true 5.1 surround sound by way of a wireless subwoofer and a pair of satellite speakers (which plug into the subwoofer), all without the aid of of a receiver, and without the need to run any cables from your TV to the back of the room. I own a smaller version of the same setup, and absolutely love it.
All you have to do is add the system to your cart, select your Amazon Rewards Visa as the method of payment, and use code ARC20SPRING. It’s part of a larger 20% off promotion for cardholders, and while this is the most intriguing deal available, you can see the rest here.
Update: This deal is available again, but with a backorder.
Iced coffee is a brilliant way to sell people ice for the price of coffee (which is mostly water to begin with). Cold brew on the other hand is a different process that results in less acidity, among other benefits, and you can do it yourself at home with this $15 Takeya. You guys have bought a lot of these at around $19-$20, but today’s deal is the best Amazon’s ever listed.
Your favorite USB car charger just happens to be the smallest one you can buy, and you can grab it on Amazon for $9 today with code QNL6CMJR. We’ve seen it go as low as $6 on a few occasions, but this is the best deal we’ve seen in several months, if it’s been on your wish list.
Note: Be sure to buy from Aukey’s Amazon listing, not from Amazon directly.
