Kickstart the visual design of your next e-learning project with one of these four inspiring splash screens created in PowerPoint. Choose from a corporate-themed design with character images, a travel-themed layout with a video background, a clean and modern animated intro, or a whimsical outdoorsy intro.
Loving these. Because I finish most of my work in Rise I hadn't really thought about what I could do to draw the audience in if I created it all in Storyline.... til now!
Thanks so much for sharing Trina.
I love the city/travel theme a lot and taking inspiration for it. I particularly like how the image in the background fades and I want to see if it's possible to achieve the same kind of animation for an image within Storyline 3? Does anyone know if this can be achievable in Storyline? Many thanks!
Hi Anja. Yes, you can easily replicate that effect in Storyline just by adding a translucent rectangle shape over the video and having it fade in over a few seconds time. An even easier solution is to import this PPTX download into Storyline. Storyline should preserve the animations in this download so you don't have to start from scratch!
Wonderful slide intros! I just stumbled upon these and am wondering how you get the video to play for the Travel slide - it plays when viewed online in the demo. When I download the PP file, there is no video embedded, nor do I see a link, etc. How did you do that? I'm a newbie to Articulate...:)
Hi Curt. That video is on the slide underneath the white translucent rectangle shape. This demo was published with Articulate Studio 360, a PowerPoint plug-in that's included in an Articulate 360 subscription. Studio 360 helps you convert your slides into an e-learning presentation. I simply inserted my video from the Articulate ribbon in PowerPoint and made sure the "play video" drop-down is set to automatically. You can learn more about working with video in Studio 360 right here: https://community.articulate.com/series/articulate-presenter-360/articles/articulate-presenter-360-user-guide-how-to-add-video-files I hope this answers your question and gets you pointed in the right direction!
