2018 Solar Car Challenge

This is the weekly meeting of the Plano Solar Race Team. This is not an openly publicized meeting but a working group of high school students and their adult mentors to collaborate on the design, construction and competition of the 2018 Solar Car Challenge.

This group is open to the public and if you are currently enrolled in a local high school and would like to inquire about participation, we do have openings in various areas of competencies: project management, fundraising, social media, videography, programming, microcontrollers, CAD, electrical design, mechanical design, and metal fabrication. We can also use additional mentors who are willing to assist in guiding these kids on an engineering journey. Mentors do not give answers only assist the kids on how to formulate the answers they seek.
