Get Guillermina to Graduation

Guillermina Viruet's story is one of hope, determination, and perseverance. As many of you know, Hurricane Maria devastated Puerto Rico in the fall of 2017.  At the time, Guillermina had been a Walden University student for several years, pursuing her PhD in Education. When Hurricane Maria stuck, she lost nearly everything... but was determined to complete her degree in order to put her skills to use helping children and teachers in her native Puerto Rico.

Puerto Rico didn't have power, let alone internet, for months. In order to finish her degree, Guillermina had to travel to a center for 2 hours a day in order to have access to power and internet. Now, it's time for Dr. Guillermina Viruet to graduate; but because of the economic situation, she's unable to come state-side to walk. If anyone is deserving of actually being at her graduation ceremony, it's Guillermina. Let's all band together to raise the necessary funds for Dr. Viruet to smile as she walks across that stage!
