But In my opinion he is either trolling or this is some sort of mistake,there is no way a Rockstar employee would break NDA like that.

People have broken NDAs a lot before. It's not really new. There were mentions of RDR2 on some resumes a long while before the release of the game IIRC.

If this dude is telling the truth and had been working on vehicles for GTA 6, the map should be just about completed. I'd assume that the map/location would be modeled before vehicles (makes the most sense to me). If the world and vehicles are done, it doesn't mean that the story and mocap is. Good news if he's telling the truth.

According to the linkedin page, he left Rockstar India sometime this month.

Good find. I don't see a reason for him to lie on a resume and NDAs of this type were broken by current and ex-R* employees before, so it's not new. It's also not really surprising to know that they've been working on GTA 6 for quite some time. I still think of it as a next-gen release in late 2022 at earliest.

Yeah I suppose that's a thing. Not much of a surprise there though, as it is Rockstar's money maker. Just convince them to make a fighting system, bot MMA and Boxing with gambling in game, then we'll have a better game than GTA 5. Or release a DLC that adds this to RP, to fine tune it and tune me impressed.

I saw the thread. Basically ERA acting like ERA though. I'm sure some journos know stuff but don't see the point in talking about it. I mean, A) It's years away at this point and B) Pretty obvious it's coming

I did it for a few reasons.

1. It was up for nearly a day with no one knowing about it and it practically would of been swept under the rug. It's important because it slightly debunks Bully 2 rumours. It could be developed by a different team however idk. 

2. It gives validation of proper development, and some timeline information. Also validates other previous GTA 6 rumours of pre preproduction ect. 

3. Journalists may know something and may spark more talk externally with contacts, or someone may know something. You never know crazier things have happened.

Yeah that Hugh Langley report from March 2016 was definitely real IMO.

Reports that preliminary work on VI has begun and that R* was once considering making a GTA game set in Tokyo (during the GTA III days. Impressive find, mate! Looks very interesting and promising...
His dates (Dec, 2017 - April, 2018) also prove that he was making the Michelli GT for SSASSS update (March, 20th) in that period.

As for the NDA, some people aren't so attentive as they should or maybe he could not even think that his profile/name will be found by fans...

P.S.S. According to all rumours, we have 3 "leaked" cities: New York, Tokyo, Miami + Mexico - all of them are different and based on different parts of maps. 1 of them is for sure is a fake.

I think we all knew that a new GTA was coming, it was always going to happen. This feels like early 2016 when rumors about the next RDR were starting to pick up. It's exciting.

I'm not sure what to think about that exclusivity though. Sony would have to pay a lot of money but their games are system sellers so maybe it's worth it? Rockstar got me to buy an Xbox just for RDR2 so who knows.

No one said anything about VI being set in Tokyo though. The article mentions that Rockstar was doing some research on the city during the GTA III days (Which is like almost 2 decades ago).

I don't believe in any of the location leaks. I believe it could be an entirely new city that has never been done in any GTA game before. We'll just have to wait and see. That Pastebin "leak" is BS imo.
I don't know the specifics about the specs that guy mentioned but the games list sounded like something anyone could make-up (They're either obvious choices or highly anticipated games by a lot of people)
e.g: Horizon 2? Ofc Sony's going to make a sequel to Horizon when the first one was successful. Bad Company 3? Some rumors about that popped up about a year ago and it's one of those highly anticipated titles in the vein of Half Life 3 type situation. Assassin's Creed is pretty obvious because they're skipping this year and Kotaku reported on the next one being vikings.
He also mentioned "remasters" for The Last of Us Part II and Ghost of Tsushima. What's the point of remasters anymore when the PS5 has backwards compatibility? They could just release a free update to add enhancements.

Good find regardless if we all know it's coming. It's obviously a case of when not if, not sure if we can take anything from this regarding the when though. I don't think 2020 is out of the question like many believe, but yea if it's gonna be 2020 we're gonna have to get an announcement sooner rather than later.

Also that PS5 leak is iffy. That's a lot of information for one guy to have, hardware, release periods, 1st and 3rd party software plans and all that type of stuff. Someone in a position to know some of that might leak information, but someone who knows all of it? Doubtful.
