Little Homemade Jello Pots with Crème Fraîche

Ingredients

1 pouch neutral gelatin (such as Knox brand)

60 ml (¼ cup) cold water

60 ml (¼ cup) boiling water

60 g (1/4 cup) raw sugar (or granulated sugar)

250 ml (1 cup) Patience Fruit & Co Juice (your choice of cranberry, blueberry or cherry)

125 ml (½ cup) white grape juice

 

For the topping

Crème fraîche

Fresh berries of your choice (strawberries, raspberry, blueberries, blackberries, etc.)

Preparation time 10 minutes
Cooking time 2 hours Portions 4 servings

Here’s a childhood favourite, bumped up a notch. A light, fruity dessert that’s not too sweet. This deluxe dessert is even yummier and more refreshing as the weather heats up. Made from our 100% pure juices with no added sugar – feel free to garnish with the season’s finest fresh fruit.

Steps

  1. In a big bowl with pouring spot or a large measuring cup (1 litre), add gelatin to cold water according to package instructions. Stir well.

  2. Add boiling water and stir constantly until gelatin has completely dissolved. If necessary, heat mixture for 15 seconds in the microwave. Add sugar and juices and stir again.

  3. Divide mixture among glasses or bowls. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours. Serve with a big dollop of crème fraîche and fresh fruit.
