Desde mes de mayo estuve de viaje por New York, tenía varios años sin visitar la ciudad, y como siempre que vuelvo quedó fascinado, esta vez fui por motivos de trabajo y decidí aprovechar mi tiempo libre para solo caminar y pasar el tiempo con mis amigos y no turistear tanto.

Me estuve alojando en la casa de mi buen amigo, gran artista y roommate en mi ultima estadia en Caracas, Alfredo (https://www.catronaut.com/) y su encantadora esposa Andrea, en Washington Square, mi zona favorita de Manhattan, fueron unos muy buenos días.

En lo poco que pude salir a caminar trate de capturar un poco de mi nueva experiencia en la ciudad a través de las fotos, algo mas intimo y a la vez más urbano, las formas, las luces y sombras, sin las distracciones del color, el inicio del verano y de una nueva etapa en mi vida.

Como siempre no me quería ir, y ya planeo volver pronto este mismo año, espero esta vez poder encontrarme con más amigos y tener más tiempo para pasar con ellos.

La mayoría de las fotos las tome en film, pero estoy esperando dejarlas madurar un poco antes de revelar los rollos, otra clase de experimento.

Since last May I was traveling to New York, I had some years without visiting the city, and as always I was fascinated, this time I went for work and decided use my little free time to just walk around and spend time with my friends and not sightsee much.

I was staying at the house of my good friend, great artist and former roommate in my last stay in Caracas, Alfredo (https://www.catronaut.com/) and his lovely wife Andrea, in Washington Square, my favorite area Manhattan, were very good days.

The little I could go for a walk I try to capture some of my new experience in the city through the photos, something more intimate and more urban, strait lines, highlights and shadows, without the distractions of color, early summer and a new stage in my life.

As always I did not want come back, and I already have plan to return soon this year, this time I hope to meet more friends and have more time to spend with them.
