Calling Tennessee Artists
The Tennessee Disability MegaConference, the state’s largest disability-specific conference, is proud to announce our 2019 Art Contest!
We are seeking original artwork by or about Tennesseans with disabilities that depicts this year’s conference theme:
Discover Possibilities, Explore Opportunities!
The contest winner will receive:
- Website and program book recognition to include:
- Picture of the artist
- Bio
- Winning artwork printed on program book cover
- Winning artwork printed on conference t-shirts
- One complimentary exhibit table during the conference
Submission Guidelines:
Deadline: April 12, 2019
Artist must live in Tennessee
All entries must be original artwork. Examples of acceptable mediums include but are not limited to:
- Paintings (oils, watercolors, acrylics, etc. )
- Sketches (pen, pencil, charcoal, etc.)
- Collages
- Pottery
- Photographs
- Computer generated images
- Coloring book pages will not be considered
Submission must be about or by a Tennessean with a disability
Submission must represent our theme: Discover Possibilities, Explore Opportunities!
Upload a digital image of your submission in .jpg format. Please photograph your piece in good light and in such a way that most if not all of the background is eliminated. NO PDFs
WINNER WILL BE ANNOUNCED BY APRIL 19, 2019
The contest winner will be required within 5 days to:
- Submit a high quality jpg image of your piece (300 dpi) for best printing
- Submit a high quality artist photograph for the program book
