Ethiopia Expects U.S Financial Backing for Reform Plan

Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed said his country is expecting “significant financial support” from the U.S. for the government’s reform program.

Abiy met with U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo in the Ethiopian capital, Addis Ababa, on Tuesday, according to a statement released by the prime minister’s office.
