WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – The case of a Wichita toddler found with a dead octopus lodged in his throat will go to trial.
Matthew Gallagher waived his right to a preliminary hearing Thursday. He is charged with aggravated endangerment of a child after a small octopus was found in the toddler’s throat.
The child did survive. The trial is now scheduled for October 3.
