CFP: Lexicon Philosophicum, history of science


Call for Papers Issue 5 (2017)

Lexicon Philosophicum welcomes original contributions on the history of philosophy, the history of science, and the history of ideas, with a special attention to textual and lexical data. The journal has an interdisciplinary character and provides open access to original, unpublished high quality contributions: critical essays, research articles, short texts editions, and critical bibliographic reviews. Lexicon Philosophicum pays also great attention to Digital Humanities and especially to digital scholarly editing, corpora creation, semantic web research.Submitted papers will go through an experiment in peer-reviewing: a double-blind peer-review process followed by a one-month open-reviewing phase during which registered users of the journal platform will be enabled to comment on and to discuss submitted papers.The journal articles will be interlinked with a large collection of primary sources of Ancient and Early Modern Philosophy available in the portal Daphnet (www.daphnet.org). Lexicon Philosophicum will particularly welcome articles directly related to texts and authors published in these platforms.Authors are invited to submit complete original papers, which are not under review for any other journal or conference proceedings.By the help of high quality peer review and indexing, the journal seeks to provide its contributors with academic support and wide visibility.
