YIM-UK is an interdisciplinary organisation that aims to assist Indian early career researchers (ECRs) in the UK to identify prospective career opportunities. Through YIM-UK, we seek to create a platform where ECRs can establish connections with leading figures in science and technology, funding bodies, policy makers, and industry. YIM-UK envisages to usher in the next generation of global leaders in science by combining the youth and dynamism of ECRs with the mentorship of senior academic experts. YIM-UK is a close ally of the YIM movement launched in Boston in 2009, and has been subsequently organized, every year, by IndiaBioscience in India.
