Gunman, Accomplice Rob Victim at Elk Grove Grocery Store Parking Lot



A victim was robbed at gunpoint yesterday in the parking lot of an Elk Grove grocery store.

At 7:39 p.m. the victim who was robbed was walking toward his vehicle in the parking lot of the Winco grocery store on Sheldon Road when an unknown suspect approached him and started a conversation. When the victim reached his vehicle, another unknown suspect drove into the parking lot and parked next to him and exited his vehicle.

The driver then approached the victim, pulled a handgun from his waistband, pointed it at the victim, and demanded his personal property. The victim complied with the demands and turned over his wallet.

The two suspects fled the parking lot in a white sedan and responding officers were unable to locate them.

The first suspect was described as a Black male adult in his 40's, 5`11”, 145 lbs., and was wearing all dark clothing. The gunman was a Black male adult in his 20's, 6`2", 150 lbs., wearing a red short-sleeved shirt, white jeans and Nike shoes.
