Elk Grove Police Arrests Suspects With Extradition Order, Prostitution Warrants

Two suspects with outstanding arrest warrants from other law enforcement agency were taken into custody yesterday by the Elk Grove Police Department.

Late yesterday afternoon police officers arrested 34-year old Malu Guerrier (picture above) near Laguna Oaks Drive and Laguna Park Drive. Guerrier is in custody at the Sacramento County Jail and is being held on a no-bail extradition charge.

According to the State of Florida Department of Law Enforcement, a man with same name and birthday as the above-described suspect is wanted for absconding from probation. The State of Florida classifies Guerrier as a career criminal and has several criminal convictions.

Police officers also arrested 22-year old Shalonda L. Peters of Elk Grove following a traffic stop yesterday morning near Galen Drive and Harbour Point Drive. A records check revealed the suspect had three arrests warrants issued by the Santa Clara County Sheriff's Department.

Peters is being held at the county jail on three charges, including two for prostitution and disorderly conduct, and one unclassified charge. She is not eligible for release, and no court date has been scheduled.
