Ly Reports Over $100,000 in Warchest For Elk Grove Mayoral Campaign

September 30, 2016 |

According to California Form 460 financial disclosures filed with the Elk Grove City Clerk's office, Elk Grove Vice Mayor and Mayoral candidate Steve Ly reported $101,240 in total contributions.

For the period between January 1 and September 24, 2016, the mayoral aspirant reported $86,969 in cash contributions and $14,370 in non-monetary donations. The report includes several donations Ly received before he entered the race following his mentor Mayor Gary Davis' withdrawal from the contest.

Several of the large donations include $5,000 each from Chrysanthy Tsakopoulos Demos Investments, California Real Estate PAC, Physician Feglaly Lee, and Willdan Group. Many of Ly's larger donations were previously reported on California Form 497 disclosures.

Ly's largest non-monetary donation of $10,400 from Pappas Investments for office space. Other notable non-monetary donations included $300 in design services from Constance Conley, Treasurer, Elk Grove Community Connection Political Action Committee and $200 for "fridge" from Teresa Rodriguez, Elk Grove Mayor Gary Davis' Chief of Staff.

Ly's fundraising efforts have raised more money than all six of his rivals combined.
