The Yuba-Sutter Chamber of Commerce and Appeal-Democrat are co-sponsoring candidate forums in October.
The public is welcome at all the forums, and members of the audiences are allowed to write questions for moderators to relay to the candidates. Moderators will be Bob Harlan and Steve Miller.
Yuba-Sutter residents are also welcome to send in questions ahead of time to ADnewsroom@appealdemocrat.com.
The schedule:
• Wednesday, Oct. 12, 6 p.m., Sutter County Veterans Hall.
Candidates involved: Sutter County District 1 supervisor candidates Ron Sullenger and Grace Espindola and Sutter County District 5 supervisor candidates Mat Conant and Barbara LeVake; and Yuba City City Council candidates Manny Cardoza, Fotine Halikaskopriva, Shon Harris, Wade Kirchner, Jason Rikard and Dena Walker.
• Thursday, Oct. 13, 6:30 p.m., Yuba County Government Center.
Candidates involved: Yuba County District 4 supervisor candidates Roger Abe and Gary Bradford; Assembly 3rd District candidates James Gallagher and Edward Ritchie.
• Monday, Oct. 17, 6 p.m., Marysville City Council Chambers.
Candidates involved: Marysville mayoral candidates Bonnie Houk, Christopher Pedigo and Ricky Samayoa; and Marysville City Council candidates David Hobbs, Stephanie McKenzie, Charles Nott, Bill Simmons and Valerie Tootle.
