CASA – Community Awareness and Safety Alliance (Neighborhood Watch)

CASA ( Community Watch) meeting
November 2, 2016 6pm
at the Depot Building 6730 Front Street in Rio Linda. Law enforcement has been invited to attend which includes the Sheriff’s Department, Twin Rivers PD, CHP, Fulton-ElCamino PD and the Park Rangers. Unfortunately, Supervisor Roberta MacGlashan will not be in attendance but she will have a representative from her office attending the meeting.

Election Day 2016

ELECTION DAY – This year we not only select a new president of our nation, but in Rio Linda/Elverta we select a new Sacramento County supervisor, and we select members of the Rio Linda Elverta Recreation and Parks District board. Your vote matters!

RLERPD Veterans Day at Depot Park

Depot Park in Rio Linda

Honoring Veterans, particularly the Veterans from the Rio Linda/Elverta area, as well as law enforcement and fire department for their service.

Boy scout troop #444 will be doing the flag placement at the park.

The Rio Linda Elverta Quilt Trail Project will also be making a presentation to the family of Erwin Hayer.

If anyone would like to speak about a Veteran at the event you are more than welcome to do so.

This event is hosted by the Rio Linda Elverta Recreation and Park District Board of Directors

1st Annual Rio Linda/Elverta Hometown Christmas Light Parade

Join us for the first ever Rio Linda/Elverta Christmas Parade and Festival. The Rio Linda VISIONS Committee, the Rio Linda/Elverta Chamber of Commerce, the Rio Linda/Elverta Recreation and Parks District and the Rio Linda/Elverta Lions Club have come together and are working hand in hand to bring a real hometown Christmas parade and festival to our community.

After the parade, join us at Depot Park for Santa, carolling, hot cocoa, and the traditional lighting of the Depot Building.

Help us create a new tradition, and welcome in the holidays the right way… the Rio Linda way.
