The 2017 Grammy live collaborations look to be as imaginatively conceived as ever.
The awards, which take place on Feb. 12, announced on Tuesday that Maren Morris and Alicia Keys will perform together, Anderson .Paak will join A Tribe Called Quest and Dave Grohl, and the Weeknd will team up with Daft Punk.
The lineup mixes new talent with Grammy veterans. A country singer and songwriter, Morris is nominated for four awards this year including best new artist. Keys, meanwhile, has 15 Grammys to her name. .Paak, also a best new artist contender is joined by a 15-time winner in Grohl. In 2016, Tribe released their first album since 1998’s “The Love Movement.”
Previously announced performers at this year’s show are Adele, John Legend, Bruno Mars, Metallica, Carrie Underwood and Keith Urban. This year’s Grammy nominees are led by Adele and Beyonce with strong showings from Drake, Rihanna, Kanye West and Chance the Rapper.
The show is produced by AEG Ehrlich Ventures for the Recording Academy. Ken Ehrlich is executive producer, Louis J. Horvitz is director, Ben Winston is a producer, and David Wild and Ehrlich are the writers.
