From January 19–29 in Park City, Utah, some of the film industry’s best and brightest gather at the Sundance Film Festival to celebrate film and reward outstanding work in a handful of categories. Interspersed throughout those categories are a handful of outdoor-inspired films that are worth seeking out in 2017. They’re unlikely to show up at your local theaters, but with a little effort you can track them down on the web. These are the must-sees.

Walking Out: A son travels from Texas to Montana for a hunt with his estranged father. After the hunt goes wrong, the two must bond and rely on each other to survive the wilderness.
Icarus: A chance meeting with a Russian scientist transforms filmmaker Bryan Fogel’s personal experiment into a geopolitical thriller involving dirty urine, unexplained death and Olympic gold…exposing the biggest scandal in sports history.
