“To all my family friends and fans I know you haven’t heard from me in a minute because I am on a mission to create the greatest hip hop album ever heard. Kanye West is producing the whole entire project along with my in house team I want to apologize to the people I haven’t gotten back to and everybody at SXSW when I’m done the world we see why I’m here thanks sincerely Cydel”

News of Kanye producing CyHi’s album comes months after the rapper released “Elephant In The Room,” a record that takes aim at Kanye West and others at G.O.O.D. Music.

On the song, CyHi raps: “Hey ‘Ye do you know what it feel like / To really be signed to you in real life / Have you ever wrote a song you know you about to say something wrong but you still write? / I hope when I’m done that we’re still tight / But why I wasn’t on the cover of the Complex?”
