HTML and CSS for beginners: Let's build a personal website

Learning HTML and CSS is the first step in understanding how to build websites! They serve as a fantastic introduction for anyone interested in learning how to program.
We will guide you through the basics of HTML and CSS, give you some readily-applicable skills, and answer any questions you may have along the way.
This HTML/CSS will take place over Saturday and Sunday.
Day 1
Saturday, 5/6 12pm - 4pm: Intro to HTML and CSS
Day 2
Sunday, 1/7 12pm - 4pm: Deeper with CSS layouts
Prior to class
We ask that you install the following on your laptop prior to class:
- Sublime Text 2, a text editor available for Mac, Windows, and Linux (http://www.sublimetext.com/2).
Also, please install either Chrome, Safari, or Firefox + Firebug:
- Firebug (http://getfirebug.com/), a Firefox extension with a plethora of tools handy in web development
- Firefox browser (http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/upgrade.html)
