Javascript Application Development

When: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6pm-9pm

Where: The Dallas Entrepreneur Center (The DEC)

What you will learn:

· This course is designed to be a 10-week, hands-on foundation in modern web application development with JavaScript. In the course, you'll begin with pure JavaScript fundamentals and concepts, and will quickly accelerate to building 'Single Page Applications' with JavaScript a new and popular framework built by Facebook, called React. By the end of the course, students will be building fully functional, real-time, JavaScript based web applications.

· FUNDAMENTALS
Dive into the core syntax and language features of JavaScript and get a thorough understanding of the language that runs the web!

· ECOSYSTEM
Learn how to traverse the vast and ever changing world of JavaScript and which libraries, frameworks, and tools will make your life easier!

· BUILD
Use your new skills to build Single Page Applications using React and make it real time using the Firebase platform!
