    FNL Awards – The Buddies!

For our first “post series” podcast we decided to take a stab our some of the Best & Worst of the entire series. And we decided to call them The Buddies in honor of (maybe) our favorite character, Buddy Garrity.

We are sure that we probably left out a few things we should have included. So we’ll try to put up a few more categories and get some extra input on things. But we hope you enjoy. Let us know what you think.

StrikitRich ,

What a wonderful show

I just discovered Friday Night Lights and have watched 4 seasons in a week! I'm going to go slow with season 5 to savor what little is left. I really can't believe that this show got past me for 6 years!!

Thanks for the podcast. Since the show is over, it's hard to comment with others being so 'late to the game', but your commentary is a great extension and expansion of this great show.

Great for fans

They have interviews with cast members and insightful, entertaining commentary on the show.

Dallas Tinker ,

Pretty good, have some issues with the Buddy Awards

First off, I love Friday Night Lights. I have 'Clear Eyes, Full Hearts' Tattooed on my Thigh, my dogs names are Skeeter and Tim Riggins, and my cat is named Kit Kat. I have met Coach Taylor (aka Kyle Chander) twice and had my picture taken with him. I'm hoping to get into Coaching part time. I have seen Every Episode several times.

My big issue with the podcast is The Failure to nominate Dallas Tinker for Character We Wanted More Of. Had he been nominated, there is no doubt he would've beat out Buddy "In Every Episode" Garrity in a landslide. It's Unfair.
Also, All the Hate for season too is real frustrating. Landry (lance, lol) and Tyra are important characters at that point in the Show and they go thru something that few of us could imagine. It makes them grow up and take life more serious. But Lyle and Rust just act like It never, even Happened, when it is one off e most important parts of the show. Also the best Fight was when coach beat up Tammy's ex in the fancy restaurant the. Has a real bad hangover. Lol.
