The Book of Blood and Shadow Book Review

Nora Kane is smart and knows how to translate Latin. She is good friends with Adrianne, Chris, and Max. She gets the job to translate the letters of Elizabeth Weston. She goes to small private school in town.
While translating them , she relates to them because of the death of her brother. She also starts to date/hang out with more with Max. She finds some interesting clues that lead them to something amazing.

This book was told in four parts, and there is even travel to the city of Prague. Nora loses someone very special to her, and we met someone new . Nora lives and breathes the dead girl letters. Nora also learns that everyone has secrets and made me think of Dr. House line....Everybody Lies . She also questions her faith and friendships. Nora journey reminded me Indiana Jones and also Davinci code.

This book also had alot of history and detail which was good and helped understand the characters more. The beginning of the book was slow, but once Nora was in Prague it moved a bit better. This was more mature book due to the relationships of Max and Nora. I didn't see any bad language at all.


Best Line: So Logic girl , maybe you are asking the wrong question.
