Google Blogger supports free expression in blogs, but some of the content might be removed.
What types of content might be removed
- Content that violates the Google Terms of Service or the Blogger content policy, like Hate Speech or Terrorist Activities, might be removed.
-
If we receive a request to remove content that violates local law, that content might not be available to residents of countries where such laws apply.
What happens when content is removed from Google
- Google notifies any account administrators by email and a message is available on their Blogger dashboard.
- All readers that attempt to access the blog receive a message which indicates that the content has been removed.
- A copy of the removal notice we receive that's related to Blogger might be sent to the Lumen database for publication on their website.
- We disclose the number and nature of government requests for content removal biannually in our Transparency Report.
Find content localized for your country
For each country where a local edition is available, Blogger uses a two-letter country code.
If you travel internationally and discover a different version of the blog than what you're used to, you can find your home country's version by adding ?gl=<country-code>
in the address bar at the end of the blog's URL.
Example:
- For an entire blog:
https://[blogname].blogspot.com/?gl=<country-code>
- For a single post:
https://[blogname].blogspot.com/2017/03/examplepost.html?gl=<country-code>
