USA: Motorola Droid RAZR MAXX [CES 2012]

Motorola announced another Android smartphone that will add up to Verizon's portfolio of Droid handsets. Called the Motorola Droid RAZR MAXX, it is a thicker version of the original Droid RAZR but comes with a beefier battery which, according to Motorola allows the smartphone to be alive and kicking for as much as "twice" as long as "the leading competitor". The smartphone is still thin at only 8.99mm at it's thinnest point. The specs stay the same with the Droid RAZR, the battery is the only main difference and of course its thickness.

The Droid RAZR MAXX also comes in purple which will debut in the coming weeks with a 16GB built-in storage.

"It’s the longest-lasting smartphone on the block, and at just 8.99 mm, the device is still impossibly thin. The DROID RAZR MAXX comes equipped with 32 GB of total memory and will be $299.99 with a new two-year customer agreement."
