The Supreme Personality

of Godhead Himself
in His sac-cid-ananda-vigraha,
Spiritual form of eternity-knowledge-bliss

[A] The realization of Brahman is unending ecstasy (brahmaananda) born of merging into the spiritual effulgence of the
existential, eternal energy of God (sat). This effulgence illuminates the spiritual sky which exists transcendental to material
space and time. It is ecstatically blissful and free from any miseries born of material contact. Anyone who experiences this
cannot conceive of a greater happiness. No mundane pleasure even compares remotely with this joy.
[B] The experience of realizing the Brahman aspect of the Supreme is also contained within the experience of realizing Him
as the Supersoul (Paramatma) within the heart through the purified mind. However this spiritual experience is further
embellished with a deeper ecstasy (paramaananda), because one's pure conscious self is able to behold both the sat
(eternity) and cit (supremely conscious individual) aspects of the Supreme. This is because one is able to ecstatically behold
the transcendental beauty of the exquisite form of the Paramatma, the Lord within the Heart through spiritual vision.
Paramatma is a plenary expansion of the Supreme Lord, who accompanies each one of us to hear and guide us.
[C] Similarly, the experience of realizing Bhagavan the personal feature of the Supreme automatically includes the
experiences of Paramatma-realization and Brahman-realization but it has the added ecstasy of premaananda. This is born of
intimate loving exchanges with God Himself and His eternal associates in ecstatic joyful spiritual pastimes within eternal
spiritual abodes. One experiences the sat (eternity), cit (conscious) as well as the all-blissful (ananda) aspects of the Supreme,
where one's innate propensity to relish love is fully reciprocated, free from the inebrieties of mundane love, for God is the
Perfect Lover. So great is this ecstasy of being in love exchanges with God Himself that for such a pure devotee, the ecstasy
of even brahmaananda and paramaananda are like misery, for they cannot bear even a moment's separation from their
perfect Lord and Master, who is the perfect lover. The Supreme Lord exists simultaneously in many differing transcendental
forms within the spiritual worlds in order to reciprocate with each individual living being according to the particular
relationship that they share with Him. Each of these forms is Supreme, yet they inconceivably remain One Supreme Person.
