People with epilepsy need your help!

We often times take our blessings of good health and finances for granted. Every 4 minutes someone in the US is diagnosed with epilepsy. Even with exciting breakthrough in research and treatment, 1 in 26 people will develop epilepsy at some point in their lives.

Seizures can affect many aspects of a person’s life, such as losing the ability to drive a car, monthly doctor’s visits, career difficulties and buying expensive medications needed to control seizures.

The Epilepsy Foundation Central & South Texas is committed to ensuring that those affected by epilepsy live their lives with dignity, equality, and independence. By contributing to this year’s Awareness Day, you are helping provide much needed support for people with epilepsy and their families. Your donation will help sustain programs and provide services to over 154,000 people living with epilepsy in 79 Central & South Texas counties.

Walkers are encouraged to wear purple and create teams with themed outfits. Awards will be given for Best Dressed and Decorated Team. Decorated wagons, strollers and bicycles are welcomed!

Join us for our Awareness Walk to Flournoy Park where a fun filled day for adults and children awaits! We will have food, games, face painting, and much more!

Our goal is to raise $5,000.
