Strikes For Kids is holding the Second Annual Strikes For Kids Sacramento Charity Bowling Tournament. The event will be held on Saturday, October 19 at 1 p.m. at Pins N Strikes in Elk Grove. Oakland Raiders wide receiver Denarius Moore will be in attendance to sign autographs, take pictures with fans as he bowls with fans, local businesses and families to raise money for The Elk Grove Food Bank.

Each bowler will receive a goody bag from event sponsors, photo opportunity, event shirt and 3 games. There will be a great amount of prizes being raffled off. The entry fee is $35 per bowler or $150 per lane for up to (5) bowlers. All children under the age of 10 years old are FREE. Entry includes soft drink beverages, pizza, bowling shoes and sponsored merchandise for up to five bowlers per lane. Spectators may attend the event at a fee of $15 per person.

The tournament times are as follows:

1:00 pm - 1:30 pm: Registration/Photos/Lane Assignment
1:30 pm - 3:30 pm: Bowling Tournament/Awards Ceremony
FORMAT: No-Tap tournaments focus more on enjoyable competition instead of cutthroat competition. These tournaments will award strikes for any pin-count that is 9 or higher.

The top 5 teams from this event will receive a free invitation with hotel included to compete in the Silverado Strikes For Kids West Coast Classic. The event will feature any where from 300 to 600 teams from 9 Western States to be held on February 21st to 23rd, 2014 at the National Bowling Stadium in Reno. Participants will have the opportunity to compete for a $5000 grand prize.
