CSI is getting a visit from Ringer alum Kristoffer Polaha.
Polaha has joined the 14th season of the long-running CBS crime procedural in a guest-starring role, The Hollywood Reporter has learned exclusively.
Set to appear in the 10th episode scheduled to air Nov. 27, Polaha will play Darryl, a blue-collar mechanic who is likable and charming. He comes to the aid of Sara (Jorja Fox), Finlay (Elisabeth Shue) and Morgan (Elisabeth Harnois) when their car breaks down, but he may have darker intentions.
One of CSI‘s original castmembers, George Eads, temporarily exited the series earlier this year after a heated exchange with one of the show’s writers. He will return later in the season.
Repped by WME and Medavoy Management, Polaha starred in Ringer, Life Unexpected and the short-lived Made in Jersey. Other credits include TV’s Awkward, Mad Men, Dollhouse, Valentine and North Shore, and the upcoming feature Devil’s Knot.
CSI airs Wednesdays at 10 p.m. on CBS.
