Paul Rudd‘s back for more Saturday Night Live.
This weekend, the actor hits the Studio 8H stage for the third time as host and if the promos are any indication of what’s to come on Saturday evening, expect British boy band One Direction — set as the musical guest — to be a major force during the episode.

Along with SNL castmember Vanessa Bayer, Rudd reveals his secret love of One Direction and expertly rattles off the names of the five members. In one of the promos, Bayer and Rudd exercise their inner 13-year-old girls when they realize that One Direction’s Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson, will be breathing the same air as them. “Oh my god! Oh my god! Oh my god! Fangirling!” Rudd excitedly shouts as he and Bayer run off to compose themselves.
Rudd, who reprises his role as Brian Fantana in Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues, joked that he got up close and personal with a prominent newsmaker, ABC’s George Stephanopoulos, in researching for the upcoming feature. “Sometimes a little too close,” Rudd says with a wink.
In the other promos, Rudd fails to remember Bayer’s name, scoffs in anger when Bayer steals his thunder and freezes in time.
