The Samsung Galaxy S III finally unveiled

Samsung has officially unveiled the next iteration of their Galaxy line of high-end smartphones. Unsurprisingly dubbed as the Galaxy S III, the device was proudly presented at Samsung's Unpacked 2012 event in London. Well, design wise, I don't think it will drop all jaws out there, personally, I am a bit disappointed with how the smartphone looks. But where Samsung failed to make my jaw drop with design they compensated with what the phone can actually do and what is inside it. The phone is expected to be shipped starting in Europe by the end of May. The Galaxy S III features the S Voice and the SmartStay S. These two features of the phone are an intuitive voice control (S Voice) and a feature that prevents your SGS III's screen from timing out when you are still "looking" or using it by having the front facing camera as a sensor. Yup! The front facing camera can see you, literally. It also sports a cool feature where the smartphone sleeps when you look away from it! Now that's a jaw dropper right there.

More things about the smartphone is it's camera. Started by Apple's iPhone 4S and followed by the HTC One X or basically the One series, Samsung has also improved a lot in terms of mobile camera sensor and the software of course. The SGS III only sports an 8MP camera but compensates this with the software.

Samsung promises you a zero shutter lag when taking photos with the SGS III. That means that it is not only the iPhone 4S and the HTC One series that can take multiple shots quickly. Samsung also says that the SGS III has a burst shot mode where the phone takes 20 photos at 3.3 shots per second, and according to Endgadget, that is faster than what HTC can put out. The camera app also starts up in just 990ms.

Anyway, check out what the phone has to say with it's specifications.
