The film, which will play on opening night, is directed by Todd Douglas Miller. The story follows paleontologist Peter Larson and his team from the Black Hills Institute who, in 1990, discovered the largest, most complete T. rex ever found. But during a 10-year battle with the U.S. government, powerful museums, Native American tribes and competing paleontologists, they found themselves not only fighting to keep their dinosaur, but also fighting for their freedom.
The film’s public screening schedule is listed below:
Thursday, Jan. 16, 9:30 p.m. at Eccles Theatre, Park City
Friday, Jan. 17, 9 a.m. at Temple Theatre, Park City
