GRANITE BAY –

One woman from Granite Bay is helping spread joy to patients and families struggling with hospice living.

Jennifer Arey watched her own grandmother during her final months. She saw how difficult living in a hospice was, and decided to bring The Bloom Project, a non-profit organization based in Oregon, to Granite Bay.

She organizes a group each month to arrange flowers for up to 50 patients at Bristol Hospice, the same hospital where her grandmother died.
