LAKE COUNTY—

Did you feel it? A small, 3.6 magnitude (according to preliminary reports from the US Geological Survey) hit near The Geysers late early Tuesday morning.

The exact location where the quake originated from is 38.838N, 122.838W – about 13 miles due south of Clear Lake.

If wishing on a quake were a thing, this would have been the perfect quake to do so, as it hit at 11:11:11 Universal Time. In our reference, that means the quake hit at 3:11 a.m.
