ROSEVILLE-
Phantom bright orange bikes in Roseville are turning heads and creating a buzz online.
Turns out, they are a marketing campaign by new gym opening along Douglas Boulevard this year.
Orangetheory Fitness says on their website the orange bikes grab attention, “Phantom of the orange bike will strike again soon!” The stunt has been repeated in other cities ahead of an Orangetheory gym opening.
Orangetheory uses heart rate-based interval training to create workout classes and sessions. And, as one can guess, their equipment is usually colored orange.
The new location along Douglas Boulevard will be Orangetheory’s first Northern California gym. Their website does not list a specific opening date.
