15.S56: Validating Your Startup; or, Focus on Winning and Don't Waste Time.
Startups are hard; oftentimes, the right idea needs the right implementation, or maybe the world just isn't ready for it yet.
Know the difference.
Learn how to measure and assess whether you're onto the next big thing and should jump in, perhaps really close and need to tweak things, or way off target and need to run away.

This course starts on Monday Jan 14th, and also meets on Wednesday and Friday of that week, and is intended for students ranging from those just starting to explore entrepreneurship to ones that are experienced and want to become more effective.

Your time is precious, so don't waste it on the wrong things - we'll give you the fundamentals to understand how to make it count.

Why are we doing this?
Actually, that's really the key question for any venture: why are we doing this, in this way, and are we sure this isn't a bad idea?

So, please fill out the info below to sign up for the class, and as for the specific idea you have to discuss, don't worry if it changes before class starts or wait because you might think of something better - we'll show that continuous learning is all about improving your ideas, and you rarely end up where you start anyway.

Why are you signing up? *
What's got you interested in working with us? Your time is valuable, we'd like to know why you're choosing to spend it with our class.
What idea are you contemplating / working on? *
Please keep to once sentence a six year old could understand. Seriously.
We think that's a terrible idea; now prove us right. *
Now we're at the point of what we'll be working on; take a crack at how you'll go from a bad idea to a good idea. Here's a starting point: what could possibly go wrong with it to make it fail?
AHA! Now you see what we're up to.
If you could answer the last question, then maybe you don't need our class… or, if you're still working on that startup, then perhaps you REALLY DO.
Either way, this will be the most valuable entrepreneurship class you can take at MIT - unless it's not, which we'll prove during the week.

Regardless, we're going to have a ton of fun.
